This breathtaking venue was created to help you plan parties that are positively Gatsbian. As a Dallas-Fort Worth wedding photographer, I spend a lot of time working behind the scenes at the best venues in town. Here’s everything you need to know about planning a celebration at The Mason Dallas wedding venue.

About The Mason Dallas Wedding Venue

115 S Beckley Ave, Dallas, Texas 75203

The Mason Dallas is a mansion in the city that was built in 1920 and now used as a wedding venue. The house was designed by Herbert M. Greene, an architect who was also responsible for buildings, including Belo Mansion and the Dallas National Bank. For over 80 years, the space served as the meeting space for the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge #705. The house has been lovingly renovated and is now owned by the Tres L.A. Group. With this venue, your celebration will be both elegant and seamless!

Details of the Grounds

With The Mason Dallas, every aspect of your wedding can take place on the grounds. There is a bridal suite where you will get ready ahead of the ceremony. This space leans into the art deco style with black wallpaper featuring gold leaf geometric designs. You will have salon chairs and mirrors against one wall so you can put on all your finishing touches.

Most ceremonies happen in the lavish  Grand Hall. This space has high ceilings, delicate crown molding, and brass accents. You will walk down an aisle illuminated by stunning crystal chandeliers and exchange vows in front of the fireplace.

Your guests will then move into the Drawing Room, where they can enjoy cocktails and lounge on the antique furniture or admire the eclectic decor, including the beloved taxidermied peacock.

Receptions take place in the Reception Hall. This room has whitewashed bricks, black chair rail, and wooden floors. The vintage white and brass lights stay true to the style of the Roaring Twenties, and the open layout will leave plenty of room for dancing! The venue will accommodate 200 guests for banquet-style dining or 400 for a cocktail reception.

Photography Opportunities

The vintage furniture throughout The Mason Dallas will be ideal for your glamorous wedding portraits. With their velvet sofas, you will have the perfect way to display the environment both for your individual and your couple pictures. There is a grand staircase where you can show off the details of your dress. The curved twin staircase leading into the venue is perfect for send-off pictures and couple portraits.
