entopia’s name blends my personal touch with my roots and the utopian vision of the visual identity I strive to create. Originally from Ethiopia, the cradle of humankind and coffee, I moved to the United States where I met my work wife, who eventually became my real wife and partner in crime.

Now based in the Dallas Fort Worth area, I travel all over Texas & globally to create content, film weddings, and chase visual adventures in my short films and narrative stories. As a passionate storyteller, wedding photos and videos are my favorites. I love piecing together the day’s moments into a beautiful film or capturing that perfect single frame that tells a thousand words.

My videos feature sound bites and interviews from family members, capturing raw emotions from every angle. Similarly, my photos are taken from multiple perspectives with a team of shooters to ensure every detail of your special day is beautifully documented.
Mente and his team are so professional and so kind and SO talented!! They had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and they captured the most beautiful, authentic moments. I showed Mente an example of what I wanted our video to be like and he nailed it - and it's even better than I could've expected. He even provided a preview of our video just TWO DAYS after the wedding! I am so grateful I went with this company. If you're on the fence about getting a videographer.. don't be. DO IT! It's worth EVERY penny. (And go with Mentopia) 10/10 recommend :)

Before our wedding, my wife and I had an intro call with Mente where he got to know us and what we were looking for. He was well prepared and a pleasure to have with us the entire day of our wedding. He got everything we wanted, but also went above and beyond to direct us and capture additional footage. Everything from rehearsal dinner speeches, family interviews, drone shots, and detailed shots of the venue/decor. He was extremely friendly/professional, worked well with our photographer, and made the process so seamless. The quality of his work far exceeded our expectations. So SO many good things to say about Mente and Mentopia productions. To start, Mente is extremely kind, patient, and EXCELLENT at his work- you can tell he loves what he’s doing and is very passionate about it. I cannot express the emotions from seeing the highlight video he created for our wedding. I had tears as I got to relive the best day of my life all over again. Chills!! And the compliments from friends and family about the video has been nonstop! I’ve watched our highlight video probably 100 times and will no doubt watch it 100 more. It was so beautiful. Mentopia was truly the best vendor we picked for our wedding. Mente and team did our engagement and wedding photos! My husband (fiance at the time), forgot his belt for the engagement shoot and without missing a beat, Mente offered his own belt to him. Clearly just one example where he went above and beyond. We just received our wedding photos back (only took one month after the wedding) and are LOVING these pictures! I can't wait to decide which ones we print for our house and family. I could not recommend them enough.
