While there are plenty of Texas barn spaces you can use for your wedding day, few out there are doing it, like The French Farmhouse. This upscale wedding venue has figured out how to throw refined rustic events personalized to each and every couple. As a Dallas Fort Worth wedding videographer, I have gotten the chance to explore some of the top wedding spots all across the area. Here is what you can expect when you book The French Farmhouse Venue.
1415 CR 215, Collinsville, Texas 76233
The French Farmhouse Venue is a family-owned venue that first opened its doors in 2020. The venue was founded by Michelle and Steve Scribner, high school sweethearts with a deep love of travel. They brought their experience to this venue and created a space that drew inspiration from European architecture. Today, they work with their adult triplets as well as their expert staff to curate events customized to each couple’s needs.
With The French Farmhouse, you will have access to the venue starting at 9 A.M.. In the morning, you can head over to the venue so you can get ready in the get-ready suites. The bridal suite is equipped with 8 hair and makeup stations, giving your party ample space to get ready. The groom will have a space with TVs and a bar they can use as they wait for the day to begin.
You will have indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony. Most couples choose to exchange vows on the lawn in front of the building, using the barn as their backdrop. For an indoor ceremony, you can use The Chapel, which has a quaint white space with cathedral ceilings accented with wooden beams. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows will serve as your backdrop. For a larger indoor site, you can use the Farmhouse. This area is spacious, with an open floor plan and a whitewashed brick fireplace you can use as your altar.
For your cocktail hour, you can set up a portable bar in the yard in front of the Farmhouse so your guests can grab drinks before taking a stroll across the grounds.
Your reception will take place inside the Farmhouse. This room has high ceilings with white walls so you can have a blank slate for your decorations. An antique fireplace will serve as the backdrop for your table. The venue will hold up to 250 guests.
The French Farmhouse Venue sits on 56 acres, giving you plenty of outdoor space for your portraits. The suites will be a picturesque space for your individual portraits. Outside, you will find several dreamy backdrops, including the red bridge and the garden area in front of the chapel.
The French Farmhouse provides you with a gorgeous venue while giving you the freedom to plan your ideal event. You will be able to select from outside vendors for your catering. The team at the venue will take care of set-up and clean-up, and they will connect you with other professionals for items such as flowers and rentals.
