The Brooks at Weatherford is an award-winning venue that is located on 21 acres. This venue is here to give you both your something old and your something new. The property has a 120-year-old farmhouse, a vintage chapel, and an event center built with a combination of brand new materials and antique accents. Since 2014, this venue has been working with couples to give them a celebration that feels custom-made for their love story.
Details of the Grounds
With The Brooks At Weatherford, you will be able to start your day by getting ready in the bridal suite and the groom’s room, where you will find a rustic yet spacious place to gather with your party. Most people then move their party out to the open-air Old World Chapel for their ceremony, where you will find stained glass windows, white shiplap, timber trusses, and antique pews. The gorgeous wooden Gothic arched windows will serve as your backdrop as you exchange vows. This space will hold up to 250 guests, and there will be additional space outside for more people. If you would prefer an outdoor setting for this part of your wedding day, you will have acres of views from which you can choose.
Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, you can head to the back terrace of the event center, where you will have a shaded space to serve signature drinks. During this time, your guests can wander around the property and take in the breathtaking countryside.
Then, it’s time for your reception in the Event Venue. This space embraces the refined rustic style with wooden support beams, polished stone floors, and a stone fireplace in the corner of the room. Drinks will be flowing all night long from the built-in bar. This space can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Photography Opportunities
The Brooks At Weatherford has so many spots where you can take pictures. Around the property, you will find a stone bridge that takes you across a small creek, as well as a wooden bridge leading toward the church. Both spots are popular for couple portraits. You can also head into the open fields for your group portraits.
Wedding Details
The Brooks At Weatherford will provide you with banquet tables as well as chiavari chairs throughout your day. They offer a stage where you can place your entertainment. The entirety of the venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is ample parking on-site. They allow outside vendors to make your day a reality!
