Your wedding is a day where you want to be celebrated. So, when you’re picking out your wedding venue, you’re probably not interested in a spot that feels as though it’s trapped in someone else’s vision. Firefly Gardens is an immaculate wedding space that can be transformed and customized so you can have the wedding of your dreams. As a Dallas-Fort Worth wedding photographer, I get the unique chance to go behind the scenes of some of the top venues around! Here’s what you can expect from your Firefly Gardens wedding.
5410 East US Hwy 287, Midlothian, Texas 76065
Firefly Gardens is a family-owned wedding venue that was started in 2014. The founders knew they wanted to create a space where they could watch weddings come to life. They purchased 8 acres and went to work creating several locations couples could use throughout their wedding day. The result is a breathtaking property where every corner has been curated for your event!
Firefly Gardens has designated several spots that you can use for your wedding ceremony. If you prefer to host this part of your celebration outdoors, you can use the Pergola, which has a paved space amidst the meticulously kept land. You will exchange vows beneath a white structure while the surrounding trees gently sway in the breeze. For those who prefer an indoor wedding, The Hall is your spot. This area has floor-to-ceiling windows that let the surrounding views serve as your backdrop. The building features cathedral ceilings accented by wooden beams and crystal chandeliers. A white-washed brick wall runs across one side as a statement wall. This area has a bar that you can open up for your cocktail hour. The Hall will also serve as the reception space once your ceremony is over. The Hall will host up to 250 guests.
Firefly Gardens has several other spots that you can use throughout your wedding day. The Hall offers an attached bridal suite and groom’s room where you can get ready before your wedding begins. If you really want to feel pampered, you can rent out the Historic House, where they have a hair salon, a bridal suite, and a full kitchen!
With the Firefly Gardens wedding venue, there are several spots that you can use for your portraits. Brides who rent out the Historic House will have a staircase where they can show off the details of their gowns. You can also take pictures raising a glass with your bridal party before the ceremony begins. The White Barn and Bridge serve as the ideal backdrop, and the Luxury Gazebo gives you an outdoor space where you can sneak a kiss after the ceremony ends.
Firefly Gardens will be here to make sure your wedding is everything you want it to be! There will be on-site staff members available throughout your day. You will have a 15-hour rental, and they only host one party on the property that day. There will be a portable bar so you can move your cocktail hour wherever you’d like. They will provide the tables and chairs and will take care of both the set-up and the breakdown. The venue has an open vendor policy, so you can use whichever caterer you’d like.
With a Firefly Gardens wedding, you are going to have everything you need for your dream wedding. Now, you just need the perfect person to help you capture it. That’s where I come in!
