4125 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75205
The Dallas Country Club wedding venue has roots stretching back to the end of the 19th century. The club was founded in 1896. As the rumors go, the founders were men who had taken a liking to golfing on a cow patch. The course itself was designed by the famous architect Tom Bendelow, and the first round of golf happened in 1912. While the golf is what made this course famous, the club has hosted some pretty extraordinary groups, acting as the home for the Shakespeare Society. The current members include some of the top government workers and business leaders. When you plan your wedding here, you are selecting a space truly worthy of your celebration!
With Dallas Country Club, you will have over 11 acres that you can use for your wedding day. Your morning will start out in the clubhouse, where you will have separate get-ready suites. In these rooms, you will have an upscale space where you can gather with your wedding party and prepare for the rest of the day.
Most couples choose to use the lawn as their wedding location. The lush, flat grounds will serve as the perfect spot for your guests to sit as you exchange vows with the European-inspired clubhouse towering in the background.
Once you have finished with your wedding ceremony, you can explore the Dallas Country Club grounds for your portraits as your guests make their way down the paved path. The back of the clubhouse tends to be a favorite spot for a cocktail hour. You can set up a bar on the back patio, and your guests can enjoy drinks while admiring the location.
The ballroom inside the clubhouse will be the ideal spot for your reception. This room features high ceilings with white walls accented by dark wood. There is a stage where you can set up your entertainment for the evening. Your guests can gather beneath crystal chandeliers and toast to your love story! Once the party is over, your guests can gather beneath the portico and wish you farewell.
The rolling acres of the Dallas Country Club golf course will serve as the ideal spot for your wedding portraits. You will be able to stop at the stone bridges or in front of the tree-lined drive so you can have a scenic backdrop for couples’ portraits. The venue also has refined covered walkways that you can use for this portion. The twin staircases in the back will give you a perfect way to show off the train of your gown.
Dallas Country Club is a full-service center that will make sure you have all you need for your day. The venue offers catering, and the chefs will work with you to craft your perfect meal. They will also be on-site to make sure your day is an absolute dream!
